Wade and his friends traverse many different areas and solve many riddles to save the OASIS and protect James Halliday's, the creator of the OASIS's, memory.

This feature seamlessly combines Action, Science Fiction, and Adventure through the complex themes of reality, love, time, free will, fate, responsibility, justice, and realization. Ready Player One is an amazing movie that allows viewers to connect deeply with characters who have to deal with life threatening situations and deciding and doing what is right simultaneously.

Age Range

Ready Player One is a movie that has some mature content. This film contains some violence, gore, adult language, sexual content, horror scenes and dystopian ideas. Although, there are a few mature situations, in general this movie is very mild. This movie is good for most ages: I would recommend 12 and up.

SA! There are multiple shootings, various large scale battles, destructive car chases, various moments of virtual intense and graphic violence, various moderate curse words, kissing, caressing with partial nudity, a couple scenes from the well known horror film, The Shining, and depictions of obsession with virtual reality.

Ready Player One is a magnificent movie that clearly encompasses Action,Science Fiction, and Adventure concepts. The plot of the film combines interesting technological ideas with the complex storyline of the the easter egg hunt in The OASIS. The movie was intriguing and had many cool shots, ideas, and plot twists. Ready Player One is a spectacular movie that shows the hardships of a life in the virtual world and the importance of always doing the right thing.
