The Matrix is a movie that has some mature content. This film contains violence, complex and abstract concepts, strong language, and intense and scary scenes. Although, there is mature and abstract content, in general this movie is medium. This movie is good for most ages: I would recommend 15 and up.

SA! There are frequent fights in martial arts and in hand to hand combat, gun shoots, blood, people getting hurt or dying, violent scenes, philosophical ideas that require a high level cognitive development to understand, some strong language, and some frightening and intense scenes.

The plot of the film combines introspective scientific concepts with the idea of living up to your prophecy. The movie was very intriguing and the camera shots and angles only made it more interesting. The actors nailed their roles by giving enchanting on screen performances. The Matrix is an exceptional movie that shows the the interesting world of the matrix and makes the viewers think deeply about the meaning of life.
